Summer Interns Gain New Perspectives at HTC
This summer, Sekisui Specialty Chemicals’ Houston Technology Center (HTC) hosted two interns who participated in research activities focused on new product development. In order to complete their projects, interns read patents and designed and conducted experiments. At the end of their summer projects, the interns gave a final presentation to the team at HTC.

Sekisui Specialty Chemicals Europe has made great progress minimizing the CO2 footprint of its Tarragona, Spain facility through reduced energy consumption at the plant. Currently, the main source of the plant’s CO2 footprint is the steam intake required to operate a natural gas boiler.
SSC Calvert City Receives its 8th Governor’s Safety and Health Award
CALVERT CITY, Ky. (June 5, 2018) – Labor Cabinet Acting Secretary Mike Nemes visited Sekisui Specialty Chemicals in Calvert City today to present a Governor’s Safety and Health Award for the 1,755,643 production hours worked without a lost-time incident by employees.
