On November 4th, Celanese Corporation announced their intent to initiate the closure of both their Roussillon acetic anhydride facility and their vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) production unit in Tarragona. The security of Sekisui Specialty Chemicals’ VAM supply has not and will not change as a result of these closures, and we expect no disruption in our production capabilities. We would like to assure our customers that all three of our manufacturing plants will continue to produce high quality Selvol products for worldwide distribution.
